Mandala

Yesterday was a such a great day. The first tattoo I did was a full color mandala with no black ink, 6 inches accross on the inside of her elbow. She sat for 3 hours like a the warrior she is! I am so grateful to have had this experience.

Blackwork

This tattoo was a joy to make. The meaning behind it resonates with me. There's something about this black style of tattooing that feel ancient & authentic. If you haven't read Alduous Huxley's "Island" you should try it out, there are great hidden messages within it. Thank you Ben. Happy Monday!

Watercolor tattoo from a early August

It's always fun to do pen and ink style black work with splashy colors behind it.

New paintings.

These paintings are part of a series I am working on about deep transformation from initial breakdown to becoming new again. This has been a common theme in my art from early adolescence, though this is the first series I am sharing with the public.

Riðum, riðum.

The song "Riðum, riðum" is an Icelandic folk song that I am learning on the folk harp.
